Butter in grams?

Baking in HK is not very easy when everything is in grams and when the recipes I use call for "a stick of butter"...my butter is not in stick form....it is in large amounts of grams.  Thank God for Google.

  1. I bet that is an adventure. My bestie is living in Tokyo and she is going through the shock of a small oven

  3. YES! Always! Same with temperature conversions - my oven is in celsius. And, fahrenheit doesn't always translate perfectly into "on the dot" celsius so it's always sort of a gamble... luckily, it's always worked out!

  4. At least you have BUTTER. We sometimes have butter. But we often have a type of soft cream that Hondurans call butter. So be grateful for butter, even if it is grams. And thanks for the kind comment at the blog. Peace to you!
