I am living in Hong Kong with my husband and sons. I love to travel, write, eat and cook. Cooking in HK is not without its trials and tribulations...like the first time I tried to make a roux...in a wok. Confession: In my life before children and being an ex-pat, I worked as a restaurant and hotel critic. My husband says this ruined me for life. That is where my love of a good hotels and fantastic meals really started…although growing up in New Orleans, good food and hospitality has always been in my blood.
